The BRSO has enjoyed a popular following in St. Francisville for many years, and  Hemingbough provides the perfect setting. Jump-start your festive season with a hip holiday celebration you won’t want to miss!

The Baton Rouge Symphony League invites you to the  second annual Jingle Bell Tea at the lovely Ruffino’s Catering & De La Ronde Hall. Join the BRSL for a festive afternoon event of  Tea Service with yummy sandwiches, scones, sweets, Hot Chocolate Station, Craft Station, Ruffino’s famous cotton candy & visit from Santa before heading over to the River Center for the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra’s Home for the Holidays conducted by Timothy Muffitt.
TEA TICKETS: Limited Seating – Advanced Ticketing is highly recommended.

December 6th ~ 7:00PM         Holiday Brass in Central

The BRSO is excited to reach out to the community of Central for our performance of Holiday Brass, Percussion and Harp. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season as Associate Conductor David Torns and the BRSO visit Greenwell Springs Baptist Church to perform all of your cherished holiday favorites.

An experience truly unique to Baton Rouge incorporating awe-inspiring music in a breath-taking setting, the Lamar Family’s Holiday Brass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral is a must for the holiday season.

Sunday, December 11 ~ 4:30PM       Holiday Brass at Houmas House
Houmas House Burnside, LA
Houmas House Plantation and Gardens serves as the magnificent holiday back-drop for this wonderful event.  The decorations and festivities are abundant during the Christmas Season in this historic setting.  Arrive early and stroll through the gardens, and make a dinner reservation for after the concert.  Join Associate Conductor David Torns and the BRSO Brass, Percussion and Harp as they perform all of your holiday favorites.   Note: this event is performed outside, subject to the weather permitting.
