“Bach” by popular demand is our fourth Annual Bachtoberfest! The BRSO’s Lamar Family Chamber Series continues with beer, brats and Bach. This family-friendly, outdoor concert provides an intimate and relaxed setting to enjoy the music of Bach and his friends.

This concert also features our world-renowned Principal Trumpet Brian Shaw performing the Telemann Trumpet Concerto, as well as Concertmaster Borislava Iltcheva and Principal Second Violin Aaron Farrell performing the Bach Double Violin Concerto.

Brats and soft drinks will be available for pre-purchase only and are being provided by our Louisiana Youth Orchestra. All concession proceeds will benefit the LYO! Concertgoers can also pack their own picnic, BYOB, and and enjoy the concert.

Part of our interview from Symphony Day with Principal Trumpet Brian Shaw discussing Bachtoberfest.
